Happy Independence Day

Ben came down to visit me for the 4th of July 4 day weekend. Its so awesome to have him near and to be able to see him every week. So for the 4th we spent the day on base. The first thing up was the 5k. It was really hot and hard for me to run fast, but I still finished 1st for the women. We got cleaned up and then went to the food court for the hot dog eating contest where Ben was one of the contestants. We then watched a softball game, a parade, and then some Korean dancers came and danced for us. It wasn't the typical Independence day, but it was a nice day nonetheless.
