On the 6th we headed for Maisan Provincial Park. The guide book said it was a must see park. Maisan means 'Horse Ears Mountain" which were the highest peaks in this park. You used to be able to climb up one, but not anymore. Of course, we still did plenty of hiking here. The middle picture is of the sculptural garden which has about 80 stones towers (from the guide book) built up by a Buddhist mystic. From there we went up, straight up to the top of one of the lower mountains and then up to an observatory. Not easy hikes for sure because of the constant up and down you had to do. After about 3 hour of hiking we ate some lunch (see above) and got all of those veggies as side items. In addition we were given a small pan on top of a gas burner with noodles, bean sprouts, pork, seasoning and some rice. I'm not sure of the name of that meal, but it was really good.
