Day 3 - Ben and I were back with the tour group and our first stop was the Jeongbag Waterfall (first picture). This is the only freshwater waterfall to fall into the ocean in Asia. It was actually pretty cool and we got to see it from both the bottom and the top. Then we went to Oedolgae (lonely rock and the second picture). Apparently some Korean soap opera (based on a real story about outcasts being sent to the Island) is filmed here so there was a little bit to see about that. Next up was the Jeju Orange chocolate factory (third picture). The samples were the best part. This chocolate had a layer of chocolate, a layer of fruit flavor (orange, pineapple, cactus, green tea) and then another layer of chocolate. It is the chocolate that is served to the blue house (like our white house). Then we had lunch (yum, bibimbap) and went to Mystery Road. Mystery road was one of those optical illusion roads where it looks like you can go up the hill with no effort, but really you are going down hill. Ben gave it a test on a bike (4th picture). Our last stop on the island was Yongduam or Dragon Head Rock. Pretty much it was a lava rock that looked like the head of a dragon. Overall we really enjoyed our weekend on Jeju island, especially Mt. Halla.
