Daylight savings

I have wondered, up until today, if South Korea observes daylight savings time. The answer is, no. South Korea did every now and then until 1988, but has not since then. So, when you guys in the United States fall back one hour, we stay the same here in Korea. Meaning, that instead of a 14 hour time difference with my parents, it will then be a 15 hour time difference. That somehow sounds much worse than 14 hours.
