Goodbye Korea

My last day in Korea with Ben was June 13th. We spent the morning doing a little more exploring of Seoul. We went to an area just north of Insadong and did a little hiking (but honestly not much). We then went to Independence Park which held the Independence Arch celebrating Korea's independence from Japan. An old prision was also there, but we didn't go in there. The arch was the last item on the list to see based on the scenes shown when the Korean National Anthem played on tv. It wasn't quite what I had imagined, but it was still nice. They were doing a lot of construction around the arch, so we kind of had to walk around some things, but we got closer anyway.

After that we went back to our hotel, I took a quick shower, changed and got ready for my flight. I was sad to leave Ben, but I knew I would see him again soon. My flight back to the states went well and I was greeted by my parents. I was so happy to see them. I was also happy to see Pattie who thankfully recognized me.
