The Ohio State Fair and Kenny Rogers

Last Tuesday Ben and I ventured north to Columbus, Ohio to see Kenny Rogers in concert at the Ohio State Fair. First we of course had some fair food (which I'm sure wasn't good for us) and then looked at the sheep.A lot of the animals were gone for the day so we didn't get to see as many livestock as I wanted but we also saw some newborn calves and some cows that were due to give birth in the next day or so. I sometimes miss my livestock days, but I'm still happy with being a lawyer in the Air Force. We then went into the area to take our seats for the concert. First up was Glenn Campbell, pretty much a country singer that I had only heard one of his songs before. He sang for about an hour and then Kenny Rogers took the stage He is actually pretty entertaining and sounds the same. He made several jokes on stage and it was a fun concert to attend. I think it's the first concert I've ever paid for (all the rest have been free for everyone). It was a late night for us and we both had to work the next day but it was so worth it.
