Head Cold and 29 weeks

So the past two days I've been sort of at work and sort of at home. A couple nights ago I went to bed with a sore throat and woke up feeling worse. I still went to work with hopes to get seen by the perinatal clinic, but unless you have a fever, you are directed to rest, drink juice and plenty of liquids. So I went home and rested and drank liquids. Today I stayed at work a little longer, but also had a pregnancy check-up. Everything is still going well. Every check-up I hear the baby's heartbeat, which is neat and they measure the uterus height. I was told that I passed my glucose test, which is a relief. If I had failed I would have to take a second test to see if I had gestational diabetes. Thankfully I don't. The drink for the test wasn't that bad, but it's nice to know I don't have to worry about that. Right now all I want to do is get better. This weekend Ben has a regatta in Indianapolis which I'm hoping to go to. Pattie too. It is supposed to rain though, so I'm not sure what Pattie and I are going to do.
