Head of the Eagle and Happy Halloween

On Halloween Ben, Pattie and I traveled to the Head of the Eagle regatta in Indianapolis. It was Pattie's first regatta and boy did she love it. At the end she was so tired from being up and alert all day, but we could tell she had fun. Plus she got to eat all kinds of food people dropped on the ground. The day could have been warmer. It was cold and windy. The water was pretty choppy, and I was happy to just be a spectator this day. The course wasn't the best for spectators (though most rowing regattas are not great for spectators - at least the ones I've been to). Ben rowed twice. Once in his singleand once with three of the juniors from the Greater Dayton Rowing Association in a quad. Ben helps coach the juniors, and the awesome thing is that my cousin Jen does too.It was nice to be able to spend a little time with her too, though she is leaving the Dayton area for New York City soon. Anyway, I did my best to take pictures throughout the day, but like I said before, it is a hard sport to watch and unless you have an awesome camera, a hard sport to take good pictures.
