Olympic Fun

I love watching the Olympics and have probably wanted to go and compete in the Olympics since I was a kid. The sports that I would compete in throughout the years have changed of course, but the fact that I've wanted to represent the U.S. in something hasn't changed. I am always inspired when I watch the Olympians. It doesn't even really matter what sport. I am just amazed at what these people can do. This morning I watched the women's marathon and was just in awe of the Romanian's win. Wow. I've been lucky enough to be only one hour ahead of Beijing and have gotten to see a lot of the events live. Kudos to all who are competing whether they get gold or last place. The fact that they are there is just awesome. So as always, I am thinking about competing in the next Olympics, or at least making the effort to qualify for the Olympic team. Help me out, by picking the sport I will compete in the poll on the right side of this blog. :) Its really all in fun, but you never know. I could be there in London competing for the U.S in 2012.
