This past weekend Ben and I took our first adventure on the Korail, the train system of South Korea. We didn't go that far, just a little bit west of Gunsan to the city of Jeonju. Jeonju is famous for its Hanok village and for creating Bibimbap (bowl of hot rice, veggies, egg, and sometimes meat). We spent most of Saturday just walking around the Hanok village. It was not as exciting as I had hoped it would be, but that's ok. At least I got to spend time with Ben.
On Sunday we went to the Gunsan airshow which turned out to also be an auto show. There were Korean models posing with the cars. People were taking pictures of these models and with these models like crazy. There was some food you could try and we tried what I thought was milk but ended up being yogurt. What a surprise. Its amazing how bad yogurt tastes when you think it will be milk. Outside was the airshow and we saw F4, F5, F16s, A10s, helicopters and a C130. Those weren't the only planes in the airshow, but those are the ones we saw.
