Me with the Biryong Pokpo (waterfall)
Me enjoying a melon pop (the best thing in Korea)
Bibimbap (mix this with hot rice and red bean paste) YUM!
On our last day we took the cable car up to see what was left of some fortress. Unfortunately, neither of us actually saw any remains of such a fortress, but we did get to see some of the beautiful views of the park from up high. I'm not one for cable cars or anything that is suspended in the air by what looks like thin, fragile cables, but I survived and I'm glad I went up. Its not that I'm afraid of heights. I love being at the top a mountain. I'm more afraid of how much pain I'll be in when the cable snaps and the car goes plunging to the ground. After the cable car we hiked to 2 waterfalls. On the way we went through a rest area of sorts with food and mountain berry wine. The women selling the wine were very aggressive and I felt bad when we only bought some from one. It was a good wine, sweet and unique. We really enjoyed our long weekend here and took the buses back to Osan.
Early the next morning I took a local bus to the airport to fly from Incheon to Okinawa. I love Asiana. It really is an awesome airline. The "snack" for my 2 hour flight consisted of some noodles, cake, orange juice, and really good rice, broccoli, and beef. On Monday, my first court as a defense counsel starts and I'm a little nervous, so wish me well. I just hope I do a good job for my client.
