On Sunday we got up early and were on the trail by 6:30am so we could beat crowd on the trail. It kind of cold, but once we started climbing we warmed up quickly. As we got higher, more and more of the trees were exhibiting fall colors and it was really beautiful. Fall is by far my favorite season. I love the cooler temperatures and the pretty colors that come with the season. I think I may have taken too many pictures, but that's ok.This trail was not as crowded as the one the day before. I was very thankful for that. This park is really beautiful. Probably my favorite one so far. Both the climb up and the climb down was brutal. It took a lot of concentration and we had to take several breaks. I love it though, well, at least the climbing to the top. On the trail we try to be friendly and every now and then, one of the people we say hi to in Hangul really surprise me. One guy gave us some crackers to eat. That was so nice and just surprising. I got a kick out of the people that seemed surprised to see us Americans ("miguk" in Hangul). They would actually say "oh" in a surprised way and some would ask us where we were from in English. I liked being able to interact at least in some way. I honestly need to learn more Hangul. It would make things a lot easier. I'm living in Korea and I really need to make a better effort to learn the language. It shows respect and I definitely respect the South Koreans.
