Dodamsambong, Kosu Cave, Chungju Dam and our Christmas tree
I left 10 inches of snow to visit Ben, with no snow at all.
Ben and I went to several places south east of where Ben lives. The first place we went was Dodamsambong. You could hike up a little bit and get a good view of the area (including the concrete factory) along with a stone bridge of sorts.
Also there were three islands in the middle of a beautiful river.
The middle one is the husband, the one to the right is the concubine (because she is pregnant) and the one to the left is the wife. Ok, so these really are just islands, but that is what they are called. Next we went to see Kosu Cave, the most beautiful cave in Korea. It is a limestone formation estimated to be 150,000 years old. It was such a cold, windy day, but it was nice and warm (as compared to outside) in the cave.

It actually was pretty cool with stairs going up and down throughout the cave.
Because of the weather, instead of taking the normal boat ride to the Chungju Dam (biggest water project in Korea), we took a boat round trip which thankfully had room inside to see the scenery pass by.
It was really pretty. After the boat ride we got back on the bus and went to see the Chungju Dam.
There was a little museum like thing to see in there, but not much else. On that Sunday we decorated our tree. Ben had bought a live tree from the Boy scouts. We didn't have any decorations, so we bought some cheap ones for our tree.
I really like the tree and I love Christmas time.
