Happy Mother's Day
I hope my Mother had a great Mother's Day. She is wonderful and inspirational. I am so blessed to have her as my Mom.
Today I spent most of the day with Ben's Mom. We started off with a Korean race. I ran the 10k and she ran the 5k. This race was much bigger than the last one Ben and I ran in.

Ben's Mom was the center of attention there getting her picture taken by all kinds of people.
We were also interviewed by a Catholic newspaper (the race was sponsored by a Catholic church and began at that church). Before the race started
we all bowed to each other and massaged each other's shoulders.
Of course we had to yell really loud before the race actually started. It was fun. I'm going to miss that when I go back to the states and run some races. My 10k didn't go as well as I had hoped.
It was hillier than what I was used to and it seemed really hot to me. I finished a little over 53 minutes which was disappointing since I was hoping for under 48 minutes. My body just refused. At the finish line we got a cucumber
and a medal. We then got some rice, soup and kimchi for our after race meal.
It was actually really good. Ben and his Dad came to cheer us on which was really appreciated. It's always nice to have some one in the crowd cheering for you. Ben and his Dad then left to go golfing while his Mom and I went to Icheon to look at some pottery. I love Korean pottery and was given the go ahead to buy what I wanted. We then went to a Korean spa there in Icheon and E-mart
and then headed home. Ben cooked meatloaf for the Mother's day meal which was pretty good. It was a really good day.
