Sobaeksan National Park

Our last day of the Memorial Day weekend was spent doing a little hiking in Sobaeksan National Park. We hiked up to the tallest peak in the park, Birobong (1439 meters high). On the way we saw many beautiful sights including azaleas. It was likely my last hiking in Korea. I really have enjoyed getting to see the parks throughout the country. Korea really is beautiful and my favorite places have been in the mountains. It helps solidify the fact that sometime, when I get to choose where I live, I'd like to live close to the mountains. It is so amazing and often peaceful hiking in the trees. I am going to miss spending our weekends like this.
